Biography of J. Bram Johns, M.D., F.A.C.O.G. Board Certified Obstetrician-Gynecologist

Dr. Johns received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Yale University. He studied medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio.
He completed his internship and residency in Houston at Christus St. Joseph’s Hospital.
He is Board Certified in the area of obstetrics and gynecology.
His compassionate nature and practical approach to medicine make Dr. Johns the perfect choice for women’s healthcare.
Dr. Johns was recently published in Gynecologic Oncology for a case study on a paraneoplastic syndrome and was a contributor in the book, Case Studies in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
He was the winner of the Pritchard Award for Excellence in Resident Research - 2000.
Dr. Johns is an accomplished musician and performed with the El Paso Symphony before medical school. He was an officer and naval aviator in the Marines for five years. He is also an avid fitness advocate who completed the Boston, Marine Corp., and Fiesta Bowl Marathons.
